What is the metaverse?
The word “Metaverse” is made up of the prefix “meta” (beyond) and the stem “universe”. First coined in Neal Stephenson’s 1992 sci-fi novel Snow Crash, the Metaverse describes a space where enhanced physical reality and physically persistent virtual space converge, including the sum of all virtual worlds and the internet. In other words, the internet of tomorrow will be an immersive media platform that you can not only see but also interact with.

Where we are today?
The future iteration of the internet will be comprised of a blend of emerging technologies including blockchain, AI, IoT, AR and VR, that will all work together to transform the way we purchase, connect and teleport around the world.
