A Virtual Christmas Village: The Art of Digital Immersion
Introduction/Context
Creating a Digital Luxury Village
Redefining the Christmas Market
The Snapchat Winter Village project follows on from the Mall Ramadan, a seasonal virtual shopping center, adapting to the European market with a strong Parisian influence. The transformed concept illustrates Snapchat's ability to evolve from a social platform into an immersive media.
An Innovative Setting for Luxury Brands
The main challenge was to structure a unified multi-brand platform while respecting each partner's identity. The goal was to create a coherent immersive experience, while ensuring a flexible yet desirable framework for the brands.
Bringing Together Luxury and Digital Immersion
The project aims to increase Snapchat's recognition as a creator of luxury digital experiences, while offering brands a platform for their Christmas campaigns, anchored in storytelling and a distinctive visual universe.
Approach/Strategy
Interactive Immersion Strategy
Fusing Cultures through Analysis
Inspired by Mall Ramadan, the team conducted an in-depth study on cultural adaptation, transforming the spectacular shopping centers of the Middle East into Parisian Christmas markets, rich with animations and festive decorations.
A Modular Luxury Strategy
The "virtual mall" concept was translated into a Christmas village, with a 360° space where users explore different brand universes, each reflecting the specific Christmas campaign of Boss, Chopard, and Lancôme.
A Replicable and Scalable Framework
Each brand provided a selection of flagship and new products, integrated into a modular system allowing deadlines to be met while ensuring a consistent and luxurious experience.

Directing/Design/Integration
Creative Execution
An Immersive Tour of the Christmas Village
Upon opening the lens, users are transported to a snowy village where they can choose a store to explore luxury product worlds and interact with animated elements.
The Art of Unified Creative Direction
The creative direction reflects "French luxury," with animated Boss, Chopard & Lancôme shop windows inspired by Parisian department stores, creating a magical and festive atmosphere.
Designing for Immersion
The design process relied on a modular methodology, enabling rapid integration of visuals and brand elements while maximizing visual impact and 360° immersion.
Dazzling Deliverables
The deliverables include interactive mockups and storyboards detailing every aspect of the village and shops, + the AR Lens Experience illustrating the project's visual and immersive unity.
